As we move into Autumn, we wanted to briefly share some of our top tips for those looking to escape to warmer climes this winter. We are on hand to take the stress away with our friendly expert advice and dedicated service.
Western Cape, South Africa – Many will have “been there, done that”, but it’s popular with us Brits for many excellent reasons; food, wine, scenery, superb hotels and warm dry weather, not to mention some world-class safari lodges close by. With one simple overnight flight you can wake up to the mid-summer temperatures of the Cape – the perfect cure for the January blues. Christmas, January and February is a very busy time, but with good local knowledge and a little creativity, we will be able to put together a superb itinerary.
The Indian Ocean – If you are dreaming about unwinding in a beautiful hotel on a perfect white sand beach with clear turquoise waters, then the Seychelles, Mauritius or the Maldives could be just the ticket. We know these destinations personally and there have been some very exciting hotel developments recently. Whether it’s “Robinson Crusoe”, a “Garden of Eden” or a “Bit of Bling” we can find the right place for you.
Southeast Asia – Often thoughts move straight towards Thailand at this time of year, with it’s wonderful cuisine, intoxicating culture, beautiful scenery and palm-fringed beaches. However why stop there? Parts of Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and even Malaysia are absolutely worth exploring as each can offer their own unique experiences. From culinary delights in Penang, to old colonial hotspots such as Kep and then laid back island-vibes on Phu Quoc. Rosie has in-depth knowledge across Southeast Asia to point you in the right direction.
Australia – With Australia hosting the Ashes this winter, it’s the perfect excuse to head down under and ditch your woolly jumper for a few weeks. There’s the temptation to cover as much of this vast island as possible, though why not avoid adding to your already high amount of air miles and focus just on a handful of areas throughout NSW, Victoria and South Australia: here you’ll still be spoilt for choice with endless wineries, stunning beaches and not forgetting those all important inland adventures; we can then pair these wonderful experiences and destinations with a wide variety of properties to suit all styles and budgets.
