By no means the prettiest resort in the Alps, but what it lacks in charm, it makes up for in quality of skiing and accommodation. It has one of the best snow records in Europe and the Espace Killy ski area covers over 300km of piste. The resort is especially good for advanced skiers, but there is also plenty for intermediates. In both resorts there are a great range of comfortable hotels, chalets and apartments available. Both are great for families with intermediate skiers and the ski schools and child care options are excellent.
