A California road trip is often the most popular first time US family holiday, and it’s easy to see why. The glitz and the glamour of the sunshine state is no doubt attractive, however California has such variety as well. San Francisco to LA is the most popular route and is easily manageable in two weeks.
If it’s more of the great outdoors you’re after, we could arrange a family itinerary through the National Parks of Colorado, Utah, Arizona and Mexico known as the Grand Circle. This includes the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Grand Staircase Escalante, and Bryce and Zion National Parks.
Moving across to the East Coast, who would want to miss the sensational New York! Perfect for a half term treat, or for a longer holiday it can be combined with New England or Washington and the South. Of course Florida is high on many childrens list, and there is much more than Disney! There are the beaches and fun of Miami and Naples, the wonder of Cape Canaveral and the water world of the Keys, all of which can be combined in a 2 week adventure.
