We’ve been holding back on my New Years email until we get some good news!
We think we are nearly there now with the announcement yesterday that the Government have put together a Global Taskforce to build a roadmap to allow international travel by 17th May.
2021 may not have started as we would have wished, though we hope there is now a genuine light at the end of the tunnel with the vaccine rolling out across the world.
We know there are many who are resigned to not going away this winter.
But for the bold who are considering a holiday this winter, our mission is to help you make this happen!
As we move into Autumn and yet another phase of the Covid-19 saga, here are our thoughts on travel for the months ahead.
It’s now official. From the 6th July, the Foreign Office will remove it’s non-essential travel advice and there should be no need to quarantine on returning from a number of countries, including France, Spain and Greece.

I’ve always been incredibly impressed with Costa Rica’s sustainable tourism credentials, being one of the few countries where tourism has positively benefited the natural environment. It now has far more forest than it did in the 1970’s, which is quite an achievement! The country has astutely identified it’s extraordinary nature as its key resource, around a quarter of the country is protected land left to nature and an estimated 5% of the world’s biodiversity is found here.
